In their turn, the Main Directorate of the Emergencies Ministry of the Volgograd Region noted that “the weather conditions remain very difficult, the height of snow drifts reaches 3.5 meters”. Road equipment paves the way for traffic jams from the city of Kamyshin in the Volgograd region and the city of Saratov, followed by tankers and cars with food, blankets and warm clothes.

Emergency services, recalled in the Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, repeatedly warned about the difficult weather conditions on the Volgograd-Saratov highway, where a difficult weather situation will take shape in the coming days. “The Southern Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations again asks drivers not to use motor transport in the coming days and not to go on the highway,” they stressed.
